LeafBlox Installation and Maintenance
LeafBlox installs directly inside a clean gutter without screws, nails, drilling, or permanent fasteners.
Installation Steps
- Inspect the gutter. Confirm it is clean, securely installed, properly sloped, and draining to the downspout.
- Start at one end. Place LeafBlox into the gutter and fill the gutter end-to-end.
- Work around hangers. Slide the brush beneath existing gutter nails or hangers as needed.
- Turn corners. Bend the flexible brush section to follow gutter corners.
- Finish the run. Fold excess brush length back into the gutter when practical, or trim only when a precise length is required.
Tools
No installation tools are normally required for standard placement.
Before you begin
Use appropriate ladder and fall-safety practices. Do not install into a gutter that is loose, damaged, improperly sloped, or already unable to handle roof runoff.
Cleaning and Maintenance
No gutter-protection system should be treated as permanently maintenance-free. Inspect the gutter periodically, especially where nearby trees shed fine debris, seeds, needles, or organic material.
- Lift out the affected LeafBlox sections.
- Shake or brush loose debris from the bristles.
- Clean accumulated material from the gutter channel if necessary.
- Reinstall the LeafBlox sections.
